Newsletter campaigns

An automated newsletter campaign builds and sends an issue at fixed times, with articles chosen by a criterion. It is set up in the Campanhas automáticas (automated campaigns) tab of Smart Newsletter. The form header has the Nome da campanha (campaign name) and Periodicidade (frequency) fields, with the Diária (daily) option, and the Campanha ativa (campaign active) toggle.

Agenda de disparo (send schedule)

The Horários de disparo (send times) list accepts one or more times, each removable, and the + Adicionar horário (add time) button adds a new one. Every contact on the list receives the issue at the same time.

Regras de conteúdo (content rules)

The Critério principal (main criterion) field defines how articles are chosen; the default option is Mais lidas (Trending) (most read).

Filtros de conteúdo (content filters)

Editorias (sections), Tags, and Autores (authors) narrow the archive. Janela de publicação (publication window) limits the search to articles published in the last few hours, and the Exige imagem de destaque (requires featured image) and Piso de qualidade (quality floor) toggles complete the filter.

Público e template (audience and template)

Base de e-mails (email list) selects the destination list. Template HTML (HTML template) selects the issue template. Perfil de envio (sending profile) defines the sender, whose DNS must be verified.

Execução (execution)

Enviar automaticamente (send automatically) sends at the scheduled time. Requer aprovação humana (requires human approval) routes the issue to the Approvals queue before sending.

Pending issue

With Requer aprovação humana, the issue appears in Histórico de envios (send history) with the Pendente de aprovação (pending approval) status and the Destinatários (recipients) and Enviados (sent) columns at zero until someone approves it. This state does not indicate a send failure.
