Pulse

The Pulse suggestion queue: strategy filter, the card with signal and actions, and the dialog with diagnosis and action plan. What to do with each card.

Updated on

Pulse analyzes Analytics data and suggests an action for each article. Each suggestion is a card with a detected signal and an action plan, and the card leaves the queue when you mark it as done or dismiss it. There is no expiration: the time shown on the card indicates how long ago it was generated.

The sidebar item and the page title are both called Pulse. The screen subtitle is "Sugestões inteligentes de ações editoriais para impulsionar seus resultados agora." (smart suggestions of editorial actions to boost your results now).

The queue

At the top of the queue, a strategy filter has the Todos (all) option and the five strategy names: Revival, Orbit, Bridge, Erosion, and Blueprint. In the right corner, the em aberto (open) and arquivados (archived) switcher separates pending cards from those already handled. The cards sit in a three-column grid.

The card

  1. The strategy label, with its own icon.
  2. The opportunity title, which is usually the article title.
  3. The age of the card, in the Gerado há 15 min (generated 15 min ago) format.
  4. The raw signal: an objective sentence with the number that prompted the card.
  5. The Feito (done) and Ignorar (dismiss) buttons.

The opportunity dialog

When you select a card, a dialog opens over the queue. The header shows the strategy icon and label, the title, and the Ir para a matéria (go to the article) button. The body has four blocks.

Sinal detectado (detected signal)
Area chart with the dashed Baseline line and the axis from D-6 to Hoje (today). The distance between the curve and the baseline is the strength of the signal.
Diagnóstico da IA (AI diagnosis)
A paragraph in a light-blue box that explains what was detected and why it matters for the article.
Sinal bruto (raw signal)
The same sentence as on the card, with the number.
Plano de ação (action plan)
A list of items with checkboxes. Each item has a short title and an objective instruction. The list scrolls when there are more items than fit in the visible area.

The dialog footer holds the Ignorar and Concluir (complete) buttons.

What Pulse does not do

Pulse does not change the article, does not publish, and does not send anything. The only way out of the dialog is Ir para a matéria. If the action plan suggests a push, the send is done in Smart Push, through the Envio manual (manual send) tab, with the article selected in the archive search. Execution always belongs to the newsroom.
