Billing model
How PageSignal bills: per module and per volume, in three tiers. The volume units, the limits of each tier, and where to look up the prices.
Updated on
Billing is per module and per volume. Each licensed module generates an invoice line, calculated as the contracted volume multiplied by the unit price of the corresponding tier. Analytics is part of every contract; Pulse, Smart Push, and Smart Newsletter are optional. The prices and the calculator are on the Pricing page of the website.
Volume units
| Module | Volume unit | Licensing |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics | Pageviews per month | Required |
| Pulse | Insights per month | Optional |
| Smart Push | Push subscribers | Optional |
| Smart Newsletter | Email sends per month | Optional |
Tiers
The tiers are Starter, Pro, and Business. Each module's tier is set by the contracted volume of that module, and the unit price drops in the higher tiers. The table shows the entry volume of each tier.
| Module | Starter | Pro from | Business from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Analytics | 1 million pageviews | 1.5 million | 6 million |
| Pulse | 150 insights | 750 | 2,000 |
| Smart Push | 50,000 subscribers | 75,000 | 300,000 |
| Smart Newsletter | 50,000 sends | 100,000 | 500,000 |
A volume between two packages is calculated with the general formula, the tier's unit price multiplied by the volume, with a cap: no tier charges more than the entry package of the next tier.
Licensing
There is no free plan or trial period. Licensing happens in a sales conversation, with a demo based on the site's scenario, and the volume is defined at that stage.
