Editorial performance
Four metrics, four tables with articles, average and total pageviews, the desk filter, and the period comparison. How to read average efficiency.
Updated on
Performance editorial (editorial performance) compares output and audience over a closed period. The central concept of the screen is average efficiency: the audience generated divided by the output, that is, pageviews per article. It separates those who published a lot from those who performed well per article. The screen subtitle is "Gestão de eficiência, retorno de audiência e produção de conteúdo." (efficiency management, audience return, and content output).
The header holds the Núcleo (desk) filter, with the Todos (all) default; the Período (period) filter, with the Últimos 7 dias (last 7 days) default; and the Comparar período (compare period) button.
Metrics
| Metric | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Produção total (total output) | Articles published over the period |
| Audiência gerada (audience generated) | Pageviews over the period |
| Eficiência média (average efficiency) | Pageviews per article |
| Engajamento médio (average engagement) | Average reading time |
Tables
The four tables each have their own pagination. Por núcleo (by desk), Por seção (by section), and Por autor (by author) share the Matérias (articles), Média PVS (average pageviews), and Total PVS columns; the first column changes with the table. Mais acessadas (most accessed) lists articles with the Data (date), Título da matéria (article title), Núcleo, Seção, Autor, and Pageviews columns.
The Média PVS value appears in green when it is above a cutoff and in gray when it is below. It is the most direct reading of the tables: a green row performed above the cutoff, regardless of the volume published.
Desks
The Núcleo filter and the Por núcleo table depend on desks being assigned to authors in Administration, Gestão de núcleos (desk management) tab. A desk is a grouping above the section, defined by the operation, and it is assigned to the author, not to the section. The table adds up the audience of the authors on each desk.
Compare period
The Comparar período button sets the selected period against a second interval.
