TV Mode
TV Mode generates a link to show Realtime on a television, without login. What the screen shows, its names in the dashboard, and how to handle the link.
Updated on
TV Mode shows the Realtime dashboard on an external display, such as the newsroom television, without requiring login. Access is through a link with a token, and anyone with the link sees the dashboard. The link does not expire and, for that reason, must be treated as a credential, as described in TV link.
How to open it
Open the dialog
In Realtime, to the right of the ranking search box, select the television icon. The TV Mode dialog shows the text "Token seguro para exibir o dashboard em telas externas sem login." (secure token to show the dashboard on external displays without login) and a field with the link.
The link has the format
https://pagesignal.io/tv/TOKEN.Copy or open the link
Select Copiar link (copy link) to paste the address on the television, or Abrir (open) to view the screen in the browser.
The screen opens on a dark background, at the /big-screen route.
What the screen shows
The header has a pulsing red dot, the text PageSignal Live, a clock, and the close button. The left block shows Usuários simultâneos (concurrent users) at television size. Below it, Origem de tráfego (traffic source) shows bars per channel: Organic Search, Direto, Unassigned, Interno, Organic Social, and Referral, with some labels translated into Portuguese. The right block carries the numbered ranking, with position, title, section, and number of readers.
Names of the feature
The feature appears under four names in the dashboard: the television icon in the ranking, the TV Mode dialog, the /big-screen route, and the PageSignal Live header. This documentation uses TV Mode.
